How to settle in a new culture

Moving and settling in a new city/country isn’t always easy. It is even worse if they speak a different language. For example, if you speak English but have to move to Portugal where Portuguese is spoken. It can also get really lonely.(I know this because I have lived on 3 continents) So what is the
