Rest, Obey and Trust

Hi friends, welcome to February 2019.

If you are like me, then you must like to know everything about your life. What your future will look like, who you will get married to, what your kids will look like, what you will be doing 10 years from now, e.t.c

However, the thing about walking and working with God is that you must trust Him.

We can learn from the people of Isreal in Numbers 9:23

At the command of the Lord they remained encamped, and at the command of the Lord they journeyed; they kept the charge of the Lord, at the command of the Lord by the hand of Moses‘(NKJV)

Even though they complained and annoyed God alot, they still moved when God told them to move and stayed when He asked them to stay.

Can the same be said about our lives? Are we willing to obey God and allow Him take the reins of our lives so that when He says move we move and when He says stay we stay?

God tells us to;

Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own.Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; He’s the one who will keep you on track’ – Proverbs 3:5-6 MSG.

I am convinced that to be better as people in our personal and professional lives, there is need to always depend on God for His absolute divine will. This Will must be done, whether it makes sense to you or not because at the end of the day whatever God tells us to do is for our own good.

God is the master planner and He has the eagle’s view. He sees what you cannot see even if you climbed a tree. God’s plan is to eventually give you a hope, future and an expected end(Jeremiah 29:11).

So Rest, Trust and Obey Him!

You are loved,
