My Father, my Pride!

From the book of Genesis, we see that God’s original plan was to have a family that’s why He created Man in the first place. God is God and He is Father. He basically is FATHER-GOD. Yes! He is Daddy.

………………………..And the glory of children is their father. Proverbs 17:6b (NKJV)

Romans 8:15 tells us that God is our father and we are His sons. Therefore our pride and boast should be in our father because we are His Glory. My Father is my pride 🙂

The bible says He is our inheritance….

O Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup;
You maintain my lot. Psalm 16:5 (NKJV)

What do you gain when you inherit God? oh, you gain lots and lots of love, of mercy and of justice. To mention but a few but that’s just by the way.

One writer says that He cannot boast about his love for God but He can boast in God’s love for him and I share that view.

I for one have failed God. I constantly fail Him that’s why I cannot boast in the successes He gives me. Yes He gives me the successes and I cannot boast in those things.
I can only boast in the fact that He is my Father and I am His “Son” (well, I am a daughter but we are all sons”
The word “son”  comes from the Greek word “teknon” which means God’s offspring and just as I carry my earthly father’s DNA, I also carry God’s “DNA” , His Divine nature.
Being His son means I get all the privileges children get from their fathers. Psalm 24:1 tells me that  the earth is the lord’s and it’s fullness therefore.

The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness………………………………………………………………………………………..Psalm 24: 1a (NKJV)

The scripture tells us of being Joint Heirs with Jesus. Therefore what is Jesus has is ours.

“and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together”. Romans 8:17 (NKJV)

Hallelujah! we are JOINT HEIRS . .

The bible also tells us that He has given the earth to the sons of men.

The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s;
But the earth He has given to the children of men. Psalm 115:16(NKJV)

Brothers and Sisters God is our Pride, we need not to be ashamed of calling Him father. We need to approach His throne with boldness because he is DADDY. He is FATHER.

He cares about you that’s why your needs are met and your bills are paid even though it might not look like it now. Just tell Him “Dad, I need our money” or “I need our vehicle” because “it” is His and everything in the earth is His and because they are His, they are yours  because He is FATHER-GOD.

He loves you so much, He has adopted you into His family and so you are His and HE IS YOURS. You belong to Him. It is time for you to stop being harassed by the devil. You shouldn’t be afraid of Him because the KING OF GLORY who happens to be your DADDY has got your back.
So next time the devil raises up his ugly head at you with that situation that wasn’t ordained by God,  tell him to lift up that head because the KING OF GLORY who also happens to be DADDY has salvaged the situation.

However, if you don’t believe Jesus is lord and accept Him into your life, you are not God’s child. There are two families on earth as long as the spiritual realm is concerned; God’s family and the devil’s family.

God wants you in His family so bad through Jesus. Please accept Jesus today.
